Re: Greek Peak Conditions

wonderpony
I think that things have been improving slowly, very slowly. I am glad for the explanation of what is in Parkathon. It looks like a graveyard.  Even more so, I am going that they filled in some of the holes on the parking lot. I drive a Honda Fit.  Small SUVs would have driven right over me and my Fit when we fell into the hole across from the ski patrol lodge!

One maintenance item that we noticed this weekend is the condition of the Katalima’s exterior.  It’s been patched a number of times, but hasn’t been painted since right before the bankruptcy. It’s looking a bit tired. Couple that with the minefield of a parking lot entrance, and it certainly doesn’t make for a fine welcome.

I painted that thing in the 80's. Seems like it took the whole summer.....lol

Does that building fall under the same condo association as the ones across the road?

That is one huge building. When you painted it, was that back in the era when it was white?

No, it was grey when I painted it. When we painted the roof I felt like a worm on a hot rock. Got a great tan though.

That's too funny. I don't know that I remember it being grey. I likely walked by it and took the color for granted.

Word is there will be dual slalom mountain bike races Wednesday evenings. It's above my abilities but it should be a riot for those involved.
