Made a last minute decision to ski McCauley today, thanks Harv. I was planning on Greek, hoping they'd pick up 4-5" last night, but they only got 1". Got there a little late as a result, on the chair at 10:30. Dropped my daily skis off with Louie for a tune first thing, skied my rock skis most of the day. Everything skied great. They didn't drop the rope on Helmer's till about 11:30, for some reason. There was a shitload of snow on it.  DeCamp, and Sidewinder were closed for snowmaking, but Olympic was open. I spent most of the day lapping Barkeater, God's Land, and skier's right of Skyride.

Bluebird day at McCauley yesterday!  Was hard-packed but saw no signs of ice, skied real fast and was tons of fun.  Could use some new snow to freshen things up, especially in the trees.  They had the guns going on Helmers and Olympic too.

Sure the powder puke day was Friday but the sun, the views, and the snow made Saturday one of my best days ever at McCauley.  And my son went down Helmers for the first time  

Forecast for this week looks pretty good.

Nice, skiing there on Presidents Day.  I hope the lake-effect guns hit them this week.

I was there yesterday and conditions were most excellent!  To top it off, Erin Hamlin (luge bronze medal winner from the area) was there.  I just think it is so cool that I get to ski on the same slopes as an Olympian.  Hope you have as good a time as we did.

And a little heads-up for those who might be feeling a sick day coming on, Tuesday/Wednesday, looks to be real good too as 6-8 inches are in the forecast...
