I’ll take 50” of snow on 1k to 2k of vertical above 2100 ft than 100” of snow on 500ft of vertical below 2100ft. Altitude matters. 400” of snow above 7000ft is fantastic.
Don't ski the trees, ski the spaces between the trees.

Jay Peak averages something like 350” and Smuggs is like around 280” so the maps are like MC posts technically correct but obfuscating the truth and who cares how much it snows in the flatlands

If Whiteface was where snow ridge is it would avg 500”
if You French Fry when you should Pizza you are going to have a bad time

Truth is 100's of thousands of snowmobilers care each year. Tug is a mecca for the sport of riding sleds in the east.
