CNN blowing my mind yesterday. They kept saying that because the high temp was going to be 35 in NYC and then it was going to drop below freezing at night, that "black ice" was a real threat.  What?

So any day that it goes above freezing and there is snow on the road, you are looking at black ice?  I've experienced black ice and it's usually coming from freezing rain, drizzle or fog.

Winter storm are not named..Only the fucking Weather Channel names winter storms..

That said it was a wonderful storm..I hate reading about fatalities , but from a weather nuts perspective it was a great storm..

They ran this video on cable news tonight saying "we don't endorse this behavior, please don't do this."

Then finished the segment with newscasters laughing it up.

Translation: "We're sluts."
