PS You should take a day off work this week.  Looks like it's going to warm up by Friday and maybe stiffen things up a bit.  Wednesday might be primo though.

I don't think I've ever seen lake effect reach the eastern tip of Long Island.

it's also the moisture  that is embedded in the low to the north..quite the vigorous system
