WOW that is awesome!

Love the smoke coming off Mike, and the buried lollipops marking hazards.

Yesterday I rode the last Facelift of the day with a neat 12-year-old kid who said he skis Whiteface “every day”. He said his favorite trails are Skyward and Hoyts, and that he skied slide 1 and 2B earlier on Sunday. I asked him if the slides were open, and he said no but that he knew how to hike out to them from a side trail.

We got some of the Whiteface goodness and Wilderness first run too! Agree it was awesome! The whole day was great too but that first run was off the charts.

LOL! Not yet! I need to learn to ski powder a lot better and I need a to learn to use avalanche gear and get some. I explored Cloudspin  and Niagara when there was a lot of powder on Saturday and I made it through but I am definitely not a natural at it.

Hero snow today.  A few brown spots turning up with rocks visible.  Summit in fog, but probably didn't impede visibility as there was a touch of flat light at the top of Lookout.  Work on mid station started yesterday.
Sent from the driver's seat of my car while in motion.

Ha! Yeh that was me...I remember you guys cutting across while I was waiting for the 3rd guy in our group to come down 2B.
Skiing is not a sport, it is a way of life.

JTG4eva!
Much better than I thought it would be today!  Not too cold and the sun is strong.  Fast, firm, and carveable up high.  Soft down low.  A little early to start cooking the corn, but whatever.  Should be great spring conditions tomorrow.
We REALLY need a proper roll eyes emoji!!
