Mountain Forecast currently showing 20 inches on top of Bearpen!

Fat chance.  Open Snow showing 5-10 for the Cats, little less at Gore.  Similar 5-10 through the weekend at Whiteface, just different timing.

If the freezing level hangs around 3000 it will make for some pretty diverse results, and timing of changeovers late Friday will be key.

It is getting hard to find a forecast for the Daks that doesn’t have measurable snow through Friday night, and significant qpf.

Starting to think the drive to Placid Friday could suck.....but hopefully I’ll appreciate my fat skis on creaky knees on Saturday!!!!

Updated maps from BGM look like they are starting to confirm this...showing 12"-18" near the Cats. ALY hasn't updated yet...

I booked a room in Rutland,VT in the event the track shifted to favor VT and burn up some Ski VT Passes...but looking more and more like the Cat's are going to get it. Luckily I have until Friday to cancel...will probably be switching to a room down that way.

Have wanted to hit Platty and Bellayre for a while (never been to either and have a Ski3 pass this year). Looks like this may be the weekend I check them out if the forecast holds as is now.

as a sacrifice , i changed my Friday night flight to Sunday..

Someone at work asked me if I was doing my snow dance today.  Bring on the snow day!!!

Belle Saturday, Windham Sunday, or maybe Windham Saturday, Belle Sunday!!  This could be epic.....

Belle is posting 8-12 during day and 3-5 at night on their projected conditions report.  Usually they are conservative.  I ll be up this weekend with my son.  

If this verifies, it's a bit snowmaggedon-ish...

I think Belle on Friday it is...might as well put that ski3 to use....

The NAM  and GFS are still different.. NAM is bit slower and has more QPF.  GFS is more progressive and weaker..

If the 12z GFS comes in similar to past runs. I would side with the GFS..If that's the case , a period of light to moderate snow for the Cats..Nothing special for anyone else

The NAM is giving the Cats heavy snow, but warm air wraps around to the north and brings rain to VT and Northern NY..
