Potential, too far out to speculate much more than that but the pattern fits an east coast storm.

I've been saying March has huge potential, still think the worry is a storm south of the mountains vs no storm or rain.  We still have multiple rain events before the pattern turns.  At this point I would favor the cats but way too early to rule anyone out of the game

what are the chances of a thursday night/friday mountain snow event?  I keep seeing it go on and off the extended forecast for the catskills.  Praying for more snow!!

They are doing pretty well most places out west, too.  Hey, a premature end to our EC season might allow me to convince my wife that another western weekend is prudent!

Not that I’m going Snoloco Little on the remaining season.

So, less than 4 days out and does ANYBODY have a clue what Friday’s storm will bring?  Looks like the main event may get pushed far enough south, with a tight enough gradient, that north of 90 in NYS might not be impacted much at all???

South of Albany looks like it could get very wet, with maybe some flakes in the hills?

Be interesting to see what plays out, but the chances of a good storm for anyone don’t look all that good.

weather.com is still hinting at 6-12in total thursday night/friday for the catskills. Fingers crossed.  I need to get better at looking at the different models but for now the weather channel is what I go to.  Opensnow doesn't agree though.  

Yea Open Snow has backed off while NWS has come on, a bit. Looks very elevation dependent in the Cats...
