speaking of TWC, they are calling huge for the Catskills. Like 12+ huge. We shall see how this plays out. Seemed like people were ready to throw in the towel for this season so any amount of snow at the end of this is a net win.
I was coming to post Hudson Valley Weather's report too. I have seem him flub a forecast but hes generally pretty spot on from what i've seen. Below is the storm warning with notes from HVW
Winter Storm Warnings now in effect for the Catskills, this part of our region is the easiest part of the upcoming forecast. If you are above 1000’ in the Catskills 1-2 feet is likely with some higher amounts even possible along with winds gusting to 50MPH. Below 1000’ is where the forecast becomes difficult, our forecast remains unchanged from last night as we will be spending today pouring over data to finalize our forecast. Stay Tuned.

* WHERE...Schoharie, Western Albany, Western Greene and Western
Ulster Counties.
* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 3 AM EST Saturday.
This system has similar thermo profiles as the 2010 storm that dropped 70" of cement on the Cats...That storm stalled though and lingered for a couple of days..
There was a crazy spread , some got 70 some got none...
