I feels like this thing is creeping west but not enough to make a big diff for NY.  I'm thinking VT will do pretty well.

I'm surprised no one is talking about the extreme cold and wind predicted for this weekend. Highs of -10F and below plus windy for Friday and Saturday. Was planning a trip with some friends to ski Whiteface on Friday and Gore on Saturday. The -45 wind chills caused us to postpone the trip.

Great, just great.  Now Whiteface will use that as an excuse to not open Lookout all season when they have plenty of cold weather to do it now.

Normal is not bad at this time of year.  The next 20 are on average the coldest. (I think the coldest day on average is around Jan 20?).

You have to expect some reversion to the mean.

Its about -12 here in Olmstedville and still windy... I figured today would be perfect to try out my new Hotronics setup!
