I don't know... it's only one uniquely framed selfy?  You can really assess the entire situation from one frame?  The light looks a bit flat.  That could be a large drift... the predominant surface could be dust on crust.  Maybe the wind was focused on this one area for producing an "Epic" looking selfy.  

^ I considered the question of whether it was one well timed shot. I figured it was, but I don't see any flat light. Looks like Blue Sky to me. And I figured a day capable of overhead pow shots somewhere on the mountain, blue sky, and the fact that you're at freaking Alta, all point to the day being "epic".

Next time I see bunch of guys from NYC get a pic like that 7 days after a snowstorm on a Holiday weekend at Gore, I'll go back and reevaluate my opinion in that other thread.

Hey man... I'm just busting your balls.  I agree.  The term Epic is tossed around way too much... across the board.  It seems like everything these days needs to be sensationalized for it to be relevant.  

Yeah, I know. I find it tough to have some conversations online because tone is not always apparent.

Like most of my cunning wit in real life is delivered with an enormous grin that makes people question whether I'm sincere or just fucking with them (usually both).

A bit OT, but our very own MattyC jumped in his car with his buds and drove west this week, posting his normal full-on stoke on Facebook. Some friends(?) were harshin on him, telling him to stay home, come back, one guy posting a snow cover map.
