Note, the above statement about buying mad skills is in no way a belittling of SBR. In fact, SBR is prolly the stylesiest old skewl style style master I know. Truth is, we've got nothing to prove, 'cause no one cares. Not even us. So when we ski, we ski Charger BC's.

V6BC love has been heating up here in the Johnsburg BC
As much fun as the Charger/Vector design is, Voile has hit a grand slam with the V6

Hrrrmmpphh... Enuff taunting. You're only creating coveting... I
I'm holding out for a V8BC... (Mostly cause I've got nothing left in my toy budget.. ) I'm guessing the V6's have softer tails with more rocker... Which would make them more slarvy/surfy. That's the one thing with the Chargers (and Vectors) - the stiff tail. They ski best if you keep the forward pressure on the tips and keep them in the fall line. Maybe I should change the name of the thread to Voile BC Love ... Thanks Shamen... Now look what you've done..

Haha!! Actually the V6's are stiffer than chargers/vectors and they have also have more rocker, and a tighter turn radius. Heading out today for another adventure

Wicked wind today Shaman. You hitting any vertical or just rolling? Botheration OK, thin in spots, Beaver Meadows has been the best I've skied.
|
With the wind howling as it was, we decided a tour was the best option, and we opted for John Pond (second choice was the Siamese Ponds lean-to). There were four snow-shoers ahead of us which would normally have me in a foul mood , but with a thinner conditions this year, it worked out great as I could see the tops of any rocks that were not covered by this concrete like base we have. The few inches of fresh that had fallen provided an outstanding surface, and we and the hounds had a great day! Looking forward to getting much more snow

Here. This is how it works... Insert a pic. It can be of anything....as long as there's a Voile "something BC" in it.

Charger love wins the day today:
BTW, if you don't have Chargers already, start saving. The price of love has really gone up. And there is no Charger BC anymore, so you'll be choosing between a Vector or a V6 if you want some width. Vector love? V6 love? Just doesn't have the same ring to it.

SBR - isn't the Super/Hyper Charger the replacement?
https://www.voile.com/voile-supercharger-skis.html |
Yes, but there is no BC version (as in fishscale). True Charger Love requires fishscales. I just re-read this entire thread, it is pretty hilarious and includes some characters that seemed to have moved on.
