Opening day tomorrow - 3 trails - Magic Carpet, Alpha, and Iliad. Two beginner trails and a black trail (or as it would be called at Whiteface, a blue trail)

Lift tickets priced at $45

I don't think it will be too crowded...

Conditions were soft and nice on Iliad. Best opening day condition in a number of years.

It's warmer today, so I expect today it will be mushy. Rain is coming in, so it will be a goretex day.

Greek Peak Mountain Resort

We will re-open on Saturday, December 22nd, from 8:30am to 5:00pm with limited skiing/boarding and tubing.

Two trails will be open, Iliad and Alpha, as well as the Magic Carpet in the beginners area. The Tubing Center will be open from 10:00am to 7:00pm. Guests can take advantage of early season pricing. Snowmaking operations will continue as long as temperatures permit and Greek Peak will open additional terrain as soon as possible throughout the holiday week.

“Winter weather is in the forecast,” states Wesley Kryger, VP and General Manager of Greek Peak Mountain Resort. Kyrger goes on to encourage customers to come out and enjoy skiing/boarding, tubing, Mountain Coaster rides, Zip Lines, and Cascades Indoor Waterpark, which is now open seven days a week to the public.

Greek Peak Mountain Resort is dedicated to providing quality service to the community. Greek Peak will host their annual Ski Free Day on December 24th, where customers bring non-perishable food item(s) to support local food pantries. The Resort is planning their annual New Year’s Eve celebration on December 31st with their torch light parade and fireworks, great food, music, children's activities and more.

Today was the best grooming of the year on Iliad. Trojan was also good except for the top which felt a little sticky. Mars hill is still a nightmare and was a one and done. Overall a very good day.

They finally finished up snowmaking on the Fields and Stoic and moved the guns to Odyssey.

Has to be close to 3 feet and counting

p.s. you'll have a hard time finding anything on their site related to skiing--apparently it doesn't matter to them anymore.

Actually I calculated all the snow I've removed from my driveway---that link seemed to back up my original statement of "close to  3 feet and counting"

And, as you know, our annual snowfall is closer to Cuse than anyone else around.
