I also caught an edge on something at the same time and my buddy happened to get the picture at that moment.  Where do you normally ski?

I went through the instructor training classes at Greek a few years back.  When we lined up they were like where are your poles?  Then they sent me in for a rental pair.  I felt like a retard dragging them around with me.  Don't you get tired of them?  That mean you are a backcountry skier?  No lift served home mountain?

No, they make everything more efficient

There's a reason 99.9 percent of skiers use poles

I thought most skiers dragged them around like idiots and didn't use them for anything but, getting around because they are too lazy to skate.

That's far from the norm of what I witness. Maybe Camp does that at Greek

Skied from 1 to 5 today.

My conditions report:

Best conditions a Greek so far this year. At one point around 2:30 or 3 or so it was snowing so hard you could barely see the chair in front of you. Next chair up the sun was trying to break through but the clouds won out. Was still snowing when I left.

Alas, I didn't stop in the bar, so I guess they'll lose money this week.

More snow for the weekend…f'n finally. Sunday should be another great one. Feeling a sick day Monday.

Really fun day at Greek Peak today. With all the recent snow everything was riding well and only a few trails weren't open. In my opinion the place to be was on the East Side today. There were no lines, the glade was open and the powder/un-grooomed part of Mars Hill and  Arethusa Way was great! Snowboarded from 9-12 and planning on heading back tomorrow.

Didn't ski GP today - went out for some local XC instead.

Forecast looks great - and it's gotten better instead of worse for a change!

Taking the day off tomorrow…hope you can all get out there.

If GPP or anyone from Greek is reading this -- please please please open up the mountain tomorrow instead of running one lift with limited opening. I get that it's Monday, but we don't get days like this often, and it sucks to get there and have half the place closed with a foot of new snow.

Great Party as always! Sorry I missed meeting PowderQueen. Conditions were great today as you could imagine. Too bad Chair 5 didn't spin but if they stick to their regular schedule should be some nice pow waiting for us on Thursday...

Monday was Greek Peak at its best. Nothing else to say.

Anyone know any details on the fire on 392?
