Nope, no free parking that day. They are even planning on using the empty lots at the end of Page Green road.

Just got this email ---- good move on their part imo

On race day, 3/4/17, there will be a $10 Cash Only Parking Fee/Vehicle, required of all cars. Skiers and boarders can park in the ski area open lots that lead to the Adventure Center. There will also be overflow parking in the open lots by Page Green Road and Chair 5 Lot.

Each car will be given a $10 off voucher to use toward your 17/18 Season Pass. We thank you in advance for your patience and participation on this day.

 Sincerely,

 Greek Peak Mountain Resort Management

Looks like the lake effect is still going on.  Should be a good day today!!

Conditions at Greek were sweet today!  I arrived to a 2 to 3 inch coating of light powder as the lake effect was winding down.  The area was 100% open (except for the terrain off of the top of chair 2 which was closed).  All the trees skied great with only a few bare spots appearing near the end of the day.  Chair 5 was open with 6 or so inches of fresh snow.

I saw a guy with a yellow helmet and no poles over there who was doing a lot of fast laps through the trees.  I headed back to chair 4 after several runs to hit Zeus and Labyrinth which both had great coverage.

There was plenty of knee deep powder to be found under and along chair 2 in the trees.  I finished the day lapping Olympian which was in awesome shape!

Heading back for more tomorrow.  Its going to be like a spring day with the temps expected to approach 50!

Re: Greek Peak Conditions

It's truly AMAZING!! The crew, the machinery, the obstacles, the place looked like a beehive with worker bees when I drove thru yesterday. It's gonna be cold on saturday for sure, looking like a high of low 20's. I don't know how many water holes there will be. I wonder if they'll use the crick??

I heard the number of participants is up to 4300, which would lead me to believe there will be 8000 or so peeps hanging around. One thing will be parking. The ground isn't frozen and the field they have for planned parking will be one giant mud hole. Think I'll sit down there with my truck and chain pulling peeps out for 50 bucks a whack

I hope everything goes smoothly for them. It's a big opportunity.

Actually, I'm staying as far away from that place as I can get ---- it's gonna be a zoo!

I'm helping my buddy boil sap that day
