Yeah we pulled together a last-minute plan after I heard they had almost a foot of snow in the past few days!

Yup, Northern VT generally benefits when storms miss us, because cold air and moisture wraps back around through Canada.  Hence the "Jay Cloud" effect.

Taos this weekend . . . start of a 3-week trip.  Going to SLC and Steamboat afterwards with my NY schoolmate who is willing to drive his Range Rover Sport (2 ski boxes) anywhere from Albuquerque for skiing.  His day-to-day car is a Jag.  Yep, I'm totally spoiled.

I'm at Pico with my wife this weekend but she's doing PSIA clinics all day so I may head out for little adventure.

Won’t make it in time for first gondola, but I hope to be waiting for an early Summit Quad chair when it opens, if the wind doesn’t bollix that plan.

Heading to gore Saturday and waiting in line before 8. Hopefully be in one of the first cabins and hit a couple lower glafes before heading up top
