Amazing conditions @ WF all weekend!  Wilderness, Lookout Below and Wilmington (lower) got resurfaced big time!!
A couple of shots from Lookout Below on Saturday morning ... As luck would have it, I timed things just right and was one of the first people down after patrol dropped the rope!!!

Lookout Below, looking uphill!
Lookout Below, Looking Up!

Lookout Below, looking downhill!
Lookout Below, Looking Downhill!

Beautiful, soft, velvety man-made!!! It was awesome the first couple of times down. In the afternoon, the sun hitting it really changed it to more of a mashed potatoes consistency, but it was still really good!!!

I'm all for upper Mac but I'd rather see then recoat skyward over getting Upper Northway open.  its just so rocky it takes so much snow to cover and its is so easily damaged by rain and wind.  I'm thinking long term and we need snow on key runs to make it to easter if it doesn't snow.

And it needs it!!!

Niagara was great, but Upper Sky is definitely in need of some more snow.

Everything else was pretty good today. Upper Northway and Upper Mackenzie were great. Wilderness and Mountain Run were really good too. The Wilmington Trail is the next one that needs some work. From Lookout Below to the bottom, it was fine, but from the top to L.B., more snow is needed ... especially Hickock Hill ... that was beastly today!!!

Overall, it was a great day today!

My family and I brought friends to WF for their first time this weekend. Skyward (U&L) was the run of the day. Northway, Essex and Wilmington were all thumbs up in our group, as well. Bluebird, late winter sun, no wind day.

What did the newbies say or think? It's ALWAYS fun to show newbies around later in the season when more terrain is open.

Skied WF yesterday (Monday).  Skyward was absolutely stellar, top to bottom.  Will add a pic or two later.

Wow!  What a weekend!!  So many visitors from Canada commented on quality and amount of snow.  Some said our snow is much better than VT's right now!!!  Had five people ask how much for a season pass???  Now if that is not a testament to our snow making, I don't know what would be!!!!

Monday was a perfect blue bird day at WF with as good of groomed skiing as you are going to find anywhere in the east.  I heard many similair comments to what Scotty heard in the Gondi.  First time WF skiers where saying they could not believe how good the snow was and how small the lift lines.
