Nah. There's a lot more snow where you're heading and they are just as likely to get hit too

All I can say is wow.  That was nasty today.  Rained over night then snowed a half inch over it locking up the ice.

Need either some snow or sun.  I'm ready for some corn skiing.

You think 40s tomorrow will get the job done?  Anybody think the warm temps might get the Slides in play for a day before it gets cold again Tuesday?

That's what I was hoping for.  But, going with the safe bet of MRG tomorrow.

40s?  I'm not seeing temps that warm.

All the forecasts I'm seeing have Placid and Wilmington in the low to mid 40s.  Summit will likely be colder.

I'd be surprised if the top of the summit chair gets much above freezing today.  I don't think I'd bet on the Slides this week.

Agreed, it was wishfully optimistic thinking.  In the office today.....

I didn't get to the summit yesterday but if it rained up there Saturday night like it did everywhere else we may not get back into there until it's sunny and 50 degrees

What's the chance they will still be open on Sat?  Probably not good right?

^^Wow, kinda surprising.  I'm thinking that makes tomorrow a possibility (few degrees warmer).  I need Gold status though.

Wow is right.  Wasn't expecting that.  Crossing my fingers that they do open tomorrow.  Temps won't erode coverage, hopefully they won't get skied off today.  On a weekday there may not be a ton of traffic.

We are headed up in the morning anyway.  With temps in the mid 30's plus tomorrow I figured it will be a nice spring day, the Slides would be a big plus.  Maybe I need to encourage the fam to 'enjoy the hotel' tomorrow....

Couple inches of new snow Sat on could make for a nice Sunday.

Temps gonna plummet and winds pick up for Sunday, so I think Sat would be the day for the slides.  May have to head up.  Look for me JTG, I'm ez to spot - telemarker with wife & 2 kids (they're fixed heelers for now).
