bring your big boards and make sure they are sharp. snow pack in there is the thinnest I've seen it open but it got a great ski groom on March 10 with about 8-12 inches of dense snow since then. There will be ice in spots and bare rock to negotiate but manageable 4sure.
It will be more wet packed tomorrow - the easiest kinda of WF slide skiing.
def good chance tomorrow. I'll be looking for the pole-less wonder
At least he'll have his hands free to hug a tree after a real cliff drop......
I'm just screwing with you GR. Be cool if you could make it, on the chance they do open.
All I have to do is negotiate with 4 others who are riding up with me to Jay starting Sunday through Wednesday. Not sure if a couple can do it but, have the 5 tickets for the 5 guys. Have the beacon, probe, shovel if need be. And would work nicely on the way to Jay. I hope so but, can't ditch my crew. Unless they can drive up on their own. Been wanting to get to the slides for a while and this looks like my best chance.

Spot on
There's truth that lives
And truth that dies
I don't know which
So never mind - Leonard Cohen
Yeah, we're going to head up. Even if the slides don't open, it'll be good to ski WF for a change of pace. If they open, Daniel and I will do a Slides run while Beth and sylvie do a Gondi lap or 2
