Anyone in the know (i.e. not you Sno) know if Lookout is done for the season, or will it likely be open this weekend?

It’s toast
Bottom is gone from the rain the other night

I’m super happy it’s done as they ran the mid station double today which wouldn't have happened if Lookout was still running.

Normally my company has a holiday on Goid Friday but it was the last day of the fiscal quarter so we had Easter Monday off instead  That worked great because it was a really nice albeit cold spring day to ski.

I don't know if Z skied it but I did three times on Saturday.  Bottom was going quick and I was pretty sure it was done after yesterday.  It was the only trail worth skiing before 10 since they groomed it last.  Not a bad way to close out Lookout for the year.

It was open more than last season by a long shot, and next year they'd better get it open by MLK Weekend and have Hoyt's open.

MLK???  Didn’t you mean Christmas?  You getting soft?

Where at the bottom?  How was coverage futher up, if someone were inclined to break out the skins if there’s new snow?

Any reports from today? Weather projection updates?

First I said no, then yes, no, yes to this weekend.

Still on fence but lack of wknd plans and wife away + radar image tells me and my ski buddy to get in the car and head north...

Gotta have it open by MLK Weekend before you can try for Christmas.

No skiing for me this weekend but I’m predicting that those who ski will have fun

World Cup racing conditions today per my son.

I have maybe an inch at my house.  I’m slightly above elevation of Gondi base. I drove up thru southern Daks on Northway this evening and I think Gore will end up with considerably more than WF from this current system and the radar seems to confirm this.  It’s tracking south of us.

Doesn't look like it's going to be very good today.  Really windy in the parking lot and gondola isn't moving so the wind is probably crazy up top.

Gondola is now moving and the wind appears to have let up somewhat.  Not going to be crowded today.

Conditions were simply awful today.  Not really the mountain's fault.  They did what they could to groom everything.

Appears the summit is done for the season.  Exactly my prediction months ago that the upper mountain would close first.  They're running the Mountain Run lift this week to throw experts a bone, which would not have likely happened if the summit was still open.

Given this is what it looked like on Saturday it's not really a surprise it's done.  Only lasted a week longer than Lookout.

Appears that you talk to much. I will be skiing skyward Saturday when I get there, along with Cloud and possibly the slides.

Yeah, Snoclue speculating things from out his ass is no surprise!

When and if you can elaborate please do.  I’d make the day trip Saturday to close out the lift served season with some great spring conditions and a few laps in the Slides!

Haven’t seen anything official, but is WF likely to go to weekends only after Sunday?

Remember the days when WF used to spin the lifts until 4:30 on nice spring days......

Im sure I dont need to say this but SnoStillWetsHisBed is wrong again. WF will be top2bottom this weekend on a very deep spring base.  Once the temps go up the corn 🌽 🌽 will pop!

And conditions this weekend were only awful if you were a beginner to struggling intermediate.  Some amazingly great carving zones all over the mtn. Sure there were slick rick sideslip zones but experienced WF expert class skiers knew how to get to the goods.  Including the boot deep stash on Niagara!

Just wondering if you ever get tired of being wrong?

Perhaps you should consider a career as a meteorologist ... It's the one career I know of where you can be wrong half the time and still keep your job.
