Not every post has to be "it's all great and rosy".  Doesn't mean that I don't like winter.  I'm sure the majority of us have an ax to grind in some respect.

Maybe you should go to Florida as well.  You can Chris can go to Disneyworld together.

I'm ready to ride.  I'm fat and out of shape.  Relying on skiing to keep you fit is not a good bet these days.  And I'm pretty sure the horrible depression from lack of snow hasn't helped my drinking.

I'm pretty sure I should buy a fat bike.  That's almost a guarantee we'll have an epic winter next year.

It's not even President's Day yet and you're ready for winter to be over?    And you think you're core skiers?

I'm especially surprised by Jason saying that since he has a season pass at Hunter which is one of the only mountains having a somewhat normal year.  If you read my Berkshire East and Mount Snow TR's, or x10003q's Gore TR and saw that those of us who did ski this weekend had a good time, you'd realize that a mild winter doesn't mean that one can't enjoy skiing.  I'm skiing Killington this weekend and even though it'll be bitter cold, I'm still going to find a way to enjoy it..

Maybe Jason and MikeK should be headed down to Florida as well.  Soon, we'll have enough people giving up on this season to charter a private flight.

When the weather guy says "fuck it"... you have to wonder.

Maybe at least I can go water skiing in FL.

Rebecca seems to be onto something that is in line with that crazy map. Next week. Big something. Frozen or no?

Youre absolutely right, not every post needs to be positive, but a couple of yours could be. You really need to learn to enjoy the little things. Any day on skis is a good day in my book. You on the other hand whine like a bitch if your groomers aren't the perfect gradient and the tiller wasn't dropped to the perfect pressure.  And God forbid the lifts don't go 30mph so it's less time you to actually be social with whoever might be next to you on the chair. Oh and let's not forget about the climate office that every mountain has to make sure it's the right temperature outside so every square inch of the mountain has approximately 3ft of snow on it by December 1st.


Maybe you should move to Florida, because you are absolutely miserable here. Nothing seems to ever make you happy other than shitting on what other people enjoy.  

I moved to Utah instead. Florida was a close second though.

What's going on with Snow Ridge? Will there be some lake effect this week? Trying to decide between there and Killington for Friday.

Right now looks like consistent light snow over the next couple days but nothing major. I'm keeping an eye on it as well.

Sorry guys, if I knew the correlation would be so strong I would have planned a blow
our trip out west sooner. Looks like a couple of feet in the Daks just before I head out to Tahoe and rain and 50 out there. I screwed the pooch on this one - sorry.

I just looked  at the last 2 runs and the eruo..I see nada , ugatz..Some snow showers ..
As of  now there is nothing major on the horizon as far as precp..

Also the west is kind of blah...
