This is why I'm going to Colorado after my business meeting in LA next week. Also why I'm skiing Monday, which is designated as a holiday (day off) where I work, yet everyone is pissed I am not working said holiday. What's a holiday if you don't actually get to take them
Skied last weekend on it and could still feel it but not much. Skied hard both days (probably shouldn't have but all that snow made me do it....and my accomplice did too) and felt good after. No negative side effects this week so far either. Actually feels better post-skiing than before so hoping I continue to heal up.
the models can't figure out what to do..looks to be more of the same
but we are on tap for a great weekend..plenty of sun and temps in the upper 30's for the mountains
This coming weekend looks like prime spring skiing. Then we gotta hope next week's storms are snowy.
Rebecca seems to think March will be colder than normal (based on the last couple of years?):
The last few years have been remarkably similar
November 2017,2018,2019 all had cooler Novembers in the Northeast. November 2019 certainly was very cold.
January and February have been very warm overall.
I've been talking about how end of this month into March looks to be cooler. When we look at the last 3 three years we see the same warm anomalies for those Februaries. Looking at the month of March over the same three years we see they were much cooler. So the idea that March is looking cooler, shouldn't be a big surprise.
