Life is rich with a lot of different experiences to enjoy, I think it would be a shame to continue doing the same few things over and over again. Skiing is great but it’s not the end all.
It looks like the forecast is holding for the Daks and then refills all next week. If this holds then I’ll break out the AT gear and head for the woods later next week. The streams crossings likely won’t be bridged but the cover will be good.
Don't ski the trees, ski the spaces between the trees.
I’ve been camping for work this winter and I don’t love being cold anymore. Once Cody is in college I could almost hang em up and explore new activities.
That has to be the most pathetic quote ever on this forum.
All these people complaining about the winter, the snow, the cold. People that don't even ski. Or ski on the other side of the country. When you move on to other things and you don't ski anymore on the east coast, why do you linger around? Aren't there a ton of western ski blogs? Or snowmobile forums. Just seems like odd behavior. It would be like me as an east coast skier posting on a western ski blog or a snowmobile forum even though I do neither.

If there's a good thing there will some MONSTER gobblers around come spring time.
Look at the main thread title here --- The Woodstove skiing, riding, snow and the mountains. Nothing screams mountains more than hunting. Hunting was around WAY before skiing.

You’re so angry it’s kind of sad.
Keep posting, MogulMaster, you're a riot. I mean seriously, you're funny. I rank your comments up there with Jerry of the Day videos and repeats of Jackass.

Winter is back, looks like we will get an array of moderate snows over the next 10 days. Very typical winter from what we've seen over the last 10 years. If all goes well we will have good conditions from now through March.
