Can anyone provide a comprehensive info report on what they anticipate today’s skiing forecast to be?

Very cold this am requiring face mask. Warmed up enough in afternoon to go without. Everything skied pretty well with new snow this week and snowmaking. I don't think that sagamore ever opened but had guns going strong. They're pressing to make the ski bowl, burnt ridge, and regular gore fully connected. Still don't understand why upper, chati, lower steilhang, and hullabaloo were closed. Looked very skiable to me, MRG style. Lots of cars but mountain spread them out including in the lodge so i skied on every lift. The. Big news is that the Gondi didn't break down today and I don't think that there were any other significant lift stoppages.

Amazing day today!  First run up top rumor...nice but we were looking for something else.  Did upper steilhang to Darby woods, whether it’s open or not...it was open with one track.  Pow!  We did something we were not supposed to but we broke the trail and then split at the down tree, sorry to those that followed, for the record I went over.  Great skiing too much work.  Dark side glade open...my best of the day.  Yes it was cold but you could ski anywhere there was a lift to get you back an unexpected powder day...ski you tomorrow

Guns blazing on Sag. Hedges closed. Interconnect hard groomed. Echo decent. Colernshit otherwise.

Was OK today. Sniffed out some sugar snow on the edges of Lies and Showcase. Hard packed/icy/boilerplate elsewhere. Actually think it skied slightly better today than yesterday.

I hope 2 things for next weekend:

1. My new ski's ski hardpack like when I Demo'd them in CO

2. That storm happens next weekend and tracks favorably for Gore. One big dump and everything opens up.

Also skied today, early grooming up top was good . Rumor had lots of activity, lies skied great early as did Hawkeye and Topridge. Typical groomer day, skied good early but skied off quickly. Not too crowded for a weekend. Traversed over to the ski bowl via pipeline, grooming was inconsistent  on oak ridge, glad I went just to see it but not good skiing yet. 46er had guns out but not ready to blow quite yet. Echo had a lot of coverage but grooming was chunky. On plus side sagamore had lots of guns going with a lot of snow down already.

46er Gun issue.  Appears that there is an ice plug in the water line that is preventing snow making on the 46er.  Not sure but possibly Hudson also.  Its a shame because we were pumped to see the guns out but until the water starts flowing nada.

Ski bowl needs that storm badly.

Topridge was run off the day. Still don't know why high peaks area mostly roped off. And what's with the giant wet spot on cloud at entrance under chair? Where's the water leaking? Water froze on my skis almost causing a fall. Heard that there was a broken leg on rumor which caused it to be shut down. Everything was just a little harder and faster than yesterday. I'm glad that they were blowing snow on wildair but why shut it down on a weekend?

Didn't they regrade cloud to remove the hump after Ruby run?  Sounds like a cracked pipe.... What a disaster of a year with snowmaking after the off season marketing hype it's worst than ever

I skied Gore for a few hours today. They were hammering Sagamore and making snow on something on the east side. Wild Air?

Snow was good today.

Thanks to Telerider and Deb for going up top with me, when they really didn't want to!

Probably. I was all in black.  I was bummed you couldn't go straight over to the north from the top of BR.

We were bummed about that too, but Echo was a good warm up. Darkside looks almost ready.

Bummer I missed you Harvey. Sounds like we just missed each other at multiple points today. Always next time.

Regarding the Darkside. It was open this afternoon and I did a couple laps on it. Skied really well with good coverage in the woods. Not sure why Darby or Open Pit aren't open as they could be skied with the snow that's there. Same for maybe even Hullabaloo or Lower Steilhang.

There was a big clan with a bandito leading. I thought maybe, but I guess not.

Fingers crossed.

Monoski tuned and lying in wait.

Touch of flu coming on, suspect I will have to leave work early Friday.  Probably out sick Monday.
