This post was updated on .
Skiied Greek today from about 11 til 4 in on and off snow squalls that were almost whiteouts at times to breaks of sun occasionally in between. Conditions were pretty sweet although the trees are still thin enough that I got a few scars on the bases. Lower Zeus was groomed and looks like they are done blowing on Hercules and letting the whales sit for now. They fired guns back up on Fields, Stoic, Karyatis and the top if Iliad.                                                         A couple of anonymous poachers checking out their tracks on Zeus.

New Groomer???

Was leaving Greek last week and as I passed by that white metal, maintenance garage building, along the road past the beginners area, there was a flat bed tractor trailer with a Groomer on it. You know how they ship them with the tracks off. Only got a real quick look but it may have been a new Pisten Bully.

Sat. 3/2/13

Cornhead and I hit Greek, Sat. afternoon hard for 4 hours. 12:30 - 4:30. Except for Olympian, every trail was open. So we did runs down Hercules, Zeus, Arcadian Gate and Artehusa Way - all the way down skiers right of Chair 5. Any patches of ice were softer ice that could be edged with no problem. Great to ski Hercules and Zeus! Not that crowded for a Sat.

Skied Greek on Fri. 3/15 from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm with a long lunch break. From 10:00 til 1:00 skiing was real decent. Firm surface but no broiler plate by any means. Went to lunch for 2 hrs. and it snowed 2 to 3 inches and it made the skiing Excellent! Hercules still has a deep base. Should be really good early Sat. Looks like Cornhead and I will be there at 8:30 Sat.

A late day pic looking down Odyssey about 7:00 pm with 2 to 3 inches of fresh:

Mid winter conditions at GP----depending on where you were on the hill we had 2 to 6 inches of snow. Yea it was heavy but if you kept 'em straight and not side_A_ways the skiing was fabulous!!!!! The woods are full!!!

Gorgonzola---I know you said last week was it for you, but it's winter here all week. We're spodda get snow everyday thru sunday---get here if you can.

My day started like this

And ended like this

Gotta love dayz off
