If the snow holds out, and there is actually some revenue, maybe they'll re-think the 4/12 closing and at least open on weekends. Of course, when the snow goes, I have a feeling it will go fast.

What does "wf" stand for?  Whiteface? If so, I do believe that discount is gone. Not sure how much skiing you plan on doing, but Killington offers a $199 spring season pass. I will be heading back to Killington once GP calls it quits.

One of our crew was up there earlier this year......what they are doing is the same we get at Gore which is 10 or 15bucks off the ticket. No more 50% discount. Man what a deal that was for us.

Rumor has it that 4/12 will be the last day of skiing this year

Too bad b/c we have wicked amounts of snow left on the hill, but I understand it, just don;t like it
You could always hike for it Camp. Anyone know if GP restricts hiking or skinning before/after hours or after season closes?

There's still a ton of snow even at Chair 5 - great spring conditions yesterday, just warm enough to soften up without getting sloppy. It was nice to tailgate without a jacket on for a change too!

Interesting benefit for Song Mountain pass-holders for 15-16:

"Song Mountain and Labrador Mountain 'Full' season Inter-Mountain Passport holders will receive up to two complimentary lift tickets at Okemo Mountain Resort per person per season. Additional lift tickets to Okemo Mountain Resort are available at a 50% discount. Some restrictions apply. Check with Customer Service at either Song Mountain or Labrador Mountain for all the details. "

Mid-week window price for Okemo is $82. Weekend is $92. So getting two tickets is a nice perk.

Our family just decided to make the switch from Greek Peak pass holders to Song/Lab passholders for next year. That's not a hit on Greek - it was a great year there and I'm sure it will only keep improving. But the kids have been skiing GP as passholders for 10 years, my wife and I for 15 or 16, so it's time to try something different for a year.

We figure we can still ski Greek with the money we save by switching to Song/Lab. Our Song passes will be $980. Greek, with the new fee and basically no family discount, would be $1,648. We look at the $670 delta as our "budget" to ski at Greek...so for the price of four GP passes we can ski three local mountains for the season. Plus we'll make a point to use the Okemo passes - its close enough we can do it as an overnight trip.

Billy, it's always refreshing to change things up a bit to alleviate the stagnation. You'll get access to Song and Tab. The two Okemo tix on top of it are certainly a nice bonus.

WOW. Being I only have to buy myself a pass (my dogs don't need them ), I never really realized how much more a family of 4 had to pay vs. our other surrounding areas. I think we'd all agree that Greek's terrain and facilities are superior to Lab and Song, but $670 worth??? That's a tough call.

Billy, if you're around this Sunday check out the pines near ski patrol....there may be a BeerBBQ going on.

Will do Camp - we're hoping to get up there Sunday for a few hours.

Like I said, we'll use that $670 to ski Greek - it will go a long ways if planned right. So for the price of GP passes, we can ski three local places. When I looked at it like that it made a lot of sense for us. And we'll still get to tailgate at 5 on a few occasions!

Good deal....The Big Green Egg should be fired up around noonish with all kinds of dead animals cooking.

I wonder if in the future GP will try and bring the family pass back inline with the rest. That just seems to be too big of a difference to me, but maybe not to others.
