That may very well be the entire population of Virgil. I'm glad to see they are supporting Bruce, a really good guy.

People from Virgil know enough to NOT go to Hollenbeck's on opening day ---- the donut line was an hour

Yea, the Hollenbeck family are great people. Bruce was my bus driver when in school ---- went to school with his daughter as well. FREE DONUTS!!

A sack full of warm cider donuts and a quart of Battenkill Creamery milk. Oh yeah !

Just a PSA..... Battenkill milk is the friggin bomb. Truly something to Moo about. This year, it knocked Stewart's out of the " Best Tasting milk in NY " a position Stewart's long held.

Even better, Battenkill chocolate milk is divine. Odd to say, but yeah it's that good.

Gorgonzola --- sorry I missed you at Trax on Saturday. Was up in Cuse at the Joe Nichols concert. You certainly had a GREAT weekend to be up. Colors are spot on right now

Yea foliage was great for sure! We did a nice combined Cayuga/Seneca wine trail with a few brewery stops and ended up at Trax. Fun weekend, might head up next weekend as well for some mtb

Haven't been up in a couple of months, so decided to stop for the weekend on the way back from New England. The foliage was absolutely gorgeous. Went over to Watkins Glen and there were so many photographers in the Glen just waiting for the light to be just right.

The ski area was pretty quiet. I was hoping to see some work on the upper portion of the Odyssey snowmaking or the painting of some lifts, at least, but there were no signs of maintenance projects visible.

Hollenbeck's was hopping with the donut line stretching to the front door. Too funny!

In all, a pretty relaxing time.

Seems as though, Greek should sand blast and paint the lift towers occasionaly, but the lift mechanics must do maintenance on the lifts during the off season as depicted in this pic.

Article 18 Gang will be doing all it can do to ensure it snows this year in The Valley. It's going down on Sunday

It's good to see that there's some activity out there after all, Big D. That's a pretty good shot of the lift mechanics at work.

Hey Camp, That's going to be one big bonfire. Aircraft will have to be diverted from miles around.
