Yikes. Hope it heals quick. Did they say if you’ll need to see a plastic surgeon when they come out or is it gonna fade on its own?

Should be okay. Might have a plastic surgeon take the stitches out to see if they want to do anything.

Yikes!,

Mattchuck, looks like the Oscar's are not on your playlist this weekend, oh wait... was there video!?

Pulling for your speedy recovery, your "Safety Badge of Honor" is two weeks out (So many recipients this season), thanks for your understanding. Looking forward to a debrief from you and Ace, heck, if you guys ski good, I'll let you buy me a beer.

Ski You On The Hill,

Harv, you going to be back at Plattekill tomorrow? I'll be there with the fam all day tomorrow as well as celebrating my 21st birthday. (today)

One thing we share in common is we both try to celebrate out birthdays at Plattekill. I scored big today, but you guys reaped the benefits. I'll get the scraps.
I'll take boilerplate ice over wet snow any day

Shit, man....sorry!  I’ve had to leave the hill (WF) to get stitches in my shin, but the mechanics of how that happened were pretty simple.  Ski edge to the face, that’s an unusual one.  Feel better, heal quick!

Glad for everyone that scored at Platty today, place to be.

It was an incredibly odd feeling to be first down the hill and waiting for Matt. I knew something wasn't right. In about 5 minutes he came down holding his face and we knew it was trouble.  I was scared but Matt was brave.  See you tomorrow MC.

Great day. Until I took a ski edge to the face in a freak fall:

Wonder if these stitches will stay in if I try to ski tomorrow?

It really doesn't hurt much. The most sore thing on my body is my arm where they gave me a tetanus shot.

Gonna go back to Platty to pick up my car today. Might take a couple of runs if I can find a way to cover these stitches. Skiing was too good.

Have fun working today, camp!

Oh yeah it will!  It will take decades to wear out that machine as it sits in your garage while you and the sledheads stand, well sit around it swilling beer!

Just spoke to Laz, today is an attendance record, since he bought the mountain in '93.
