I love the NSX and would love to have one. It is overpriced right now. It has always been "overpriced" for me.
The funny thing about the NSX and other special cars from the 1990s is the lack of HP when compared to current cars. The 1991 NSX has 270hp (252hp with an auto tran) and 210 lb-ft of torque. The current GM 2.0 4cyl turbo that GM sticks in everything is running around 260hp/290tq.
Any car person could go get a used 2015 Ford Mustang GT today, running 435hp/400tq, for around $25K-$30k. I understand the difference between and NSX and Mustang, but 435hp is serious fun. The current Mustang and Camaro might even handle and ride better than the NSX. The nice thing about a high horsepower 2015 Mustang (or Camaro or Challenger) is you do not have to be afraid to drive them and if they break you can easily get them fixed no matter where you are.
It is a great time for horsepower.
