Whiteface Conditions (2016 - 2017)

I can't change my username.

Forecasts I'm looking at have the heavier snow coming in later on Sunday.  A day of storm skiing Sunday would be nice, but a drive home in a storm not so much.  

Wasting my time throwing the beacon/shovel/probe in the bags???

I'm really hoping they groom Lower Sky for the weekend.  Having all summit terrain funnel down to Victoria will be a mess.

Would also like to ski Hoyt's this weekend, so hopefully that gets groomed also.

No idea, but JrTrump gonna bring the stuff.  Just wondering if you thought they might be a SanctionedJackpot this weekend,  or if they'll have to be SecretlyJacklighted, or if they'll need SofteningJackhammers before they are worth going in again.  Of course it seems your SupremeJackassery prevents you from being a SwellJackaroo, unfortunately choosing to give me the ShittyJackshaft!

Not to be too negative, but this might not be a great weekend to ski Whiteface.  I checked the report and the only black rated trails open are Mountain Run, Thruway, and Parkway.  No need to ski there over Gore if I'd be stuck on blues all day, especially with big crowds due to backyard effect.

Nah, they'll pound stuff out.  It will be good.

any word of whiteface, seems like the cold and wind knocked them out today, think they open the summit back up tomorrow?

I'm not on any.  Was skiing Gore regardless tomorrow due to a ski off taking place there.  Gore will likely be way more crowded than Whiteface as it gets more day trippers and less overnights, so the backyard effect will make a difference.  Will evaluate tomorrow night to decide which mountain to go to on Sunday.

It means I'm skiing with Glade.  He coined that term.  He calls meeting people at the mountain and skiing with them a ski off.

I hate to break your lil bubble snookie but the term ski off has been used on these here IntraWebZ long before your pal ever showed up. I;m not quite sure he should be taking credit for that one. Next thing you'll be telling us is he coined ModerHater as well. Still best one ScottyJack has ever come up with.
