Skied Gore Wednesday 9:30 to 3:45 with temps in the 20s, light wind with sunshine breaking out 10-2ish.
Started with Showcase then Twister to Burnt Ridge and hit Sagamore followed by fun runs on Echo (trail of the day).
Went over to Northside for runs on always fun Tahuwus then to High Peaks double for a couple runs and then Cloud to Straight Brook and hit Chatiemac while my legs were still holding up.
TopRidge was next and did 2 laps on Pine Knot.
Decided to see what Wild Air was like as it had the best snow last time I was there. Made minor mistake of staying out of the banked turn track and went left of it which was somewhat narrow and a tad skied off. I saw skiers in there after I passed the entrance and it looked like it could be fun.
Took Gondola back up and Twistered to Echo. Finished the day on Showcase which skied well even late in the day.
Everyone was enjoying themselves.
Road up with a backcountry skier from Garnet hill who said he knows ya Harv.
Great day, good snow and no ice on any trail but what's stuck to trees especially up top.
Quite pretty but hope no high winds hit before it dislodges. Pines are pretty with it but saw almost a dozen bucket trucks coming south between Speculator and W. Canada Creek. The trees there look like ones on the top of Gore (white corralish).
Everything skied well and ran smoothly.
Uh oh, just noticed this too:
