Skied GP yesterday for a few hours from about 9:30 to 1:00. Started out pretty firm and a bit bumpy because they just never seem to groom well there. Whatever. By the time it softened up we were tired of skiing groomers anyway so headed home. Only trails with snowmaking are skiable.

Heavy going today. I went with low hopes, but was pleasantly surprised. Conditions were ok. The biggest problem was being able to see. It was snowing/ice pelleting and flat light for most of the time I was there. I had one run where my shades were clear.  I think that we got an inch during the hour and a half the that I was there. 😁

Yeah, I only skied Karyatis, but I'm glad I went. 😁

Greek was good today. The same crap that coated the chairs made an excellent base for the 4" that fell after. Though closed, skier's left Illiad, skiers right of Fields, both skied well. I bet Olympian was skiable too, but I passed. If I were on rock skis I think id've hit it.

Heard this last Friday while skiing at Greek. Seems like John is pretty focused and has his heart in the place. People enjoy seeing him out there and chatting wirh him on the lift. Good for him and his family

I agree Billy. I think it's good for GP. I'm sure running a resort with a partner would be difficult.

Somebody here mentioned this last spring. I asked Marc about it and he said the info was bad.

I get holding it close to the vest, just saying I think this has been cooking a while.

Another poachers paradise today, brought the rock skis, they were required. A good foot on Olympian, no base. Ditto Alcmene, skied over to lower Aesop's, not bad, upper looked thin. Upper skier's left Illiad good coverage, rock skis not required, everything below the connector to Odyssey no base. Skier's right of Fields, good coverage towards middle, good coverage no base to the right. Skied from 9:30- 2:30. Oh, Kristie's was good too, couple water bars, but lots of fresh.

You know who, but poles?

Snow squall warnings just popped up on my phone. If we get this AND GP opens lifts, this weekend will be really good.

I read on the website that they will be replacing the carpet this week. That would be nice.

Marc has wanted to sell his half for some time now. He also sold his home in Arcadia village over the summer.
