The Golf Thread

I can't wait to watch the final round of the Masters today! With Spieth's late round stumble yesterday it's a wide open ball game today. I'm pulling for the "old" guy Bernhard Langer. If he wins today he breaks the record for the oldest player to win a major by 10 years!!

Should be a great finish !!

i hope the top guys are ALL on their game and it comes down to the wire. LAnger hanging tough is fun to watch and he will bring his short game , the young guns may drive for show but Bernie makes up for it when it counts

Unbelievable...I watched at work until 5 and Spieth was on 9 with a 3 shot lead. Forty minutes later I get home only to find that in a span of 3 holes he loses 6 shots to par and trails by 3!!!! I never saw what happened on 12 but I assume there was at least 1 ball in the water.

Tee ball in the water. Then total fat, chunk, lay the ole sod over the ball 2nd shot into the water again. 3rd shot long into the bunker, up and down from there for a 7

Tough situation , but the youg man handled himself with class and that speaks legions about WHO he really is in terms of character .

on the 12th hole jordan should of aimed for the back bunker and taken the water out of play. he had a good
chance to get up and down from the bunker, boogie max . caddie should have been talking that up

Hind sight is 20/20. I disagree though. He just bogeyed 10 and 11 dropping his lead to 1 stroke. You don't start aiming for bunkers with a 1 shot lead with 6 holes remaining....

nice ...... i was reading through the threads and still could not figure it out. a little slow on the uptake. posted this sober, can't even blame it on the scotch. you guys are the best

Anyone up for a nyskiblog golf touranment this year.

We could either do a scramble or a Rider Cup format.  I'm thinking a WF vs Gore Rider Cup match play format would be a blast.  If enough interest could include a Cats team.

I'll organize it at the LP Club.  Beers and awards at LP Brew Pub afterward.

last time I played golf, We rolled a cart and created total mayhem on the course. We were escorted off the course and told the cops would be called. It was a combo Happy Gilmore and Caddyshack. Best day of golf ever!!!
