3rd week in Jan will for sure will be one of the snowiest ever --- I too am going to Florida
FKNA!    Camp, you and Jason are martyrs... Your willingness to throw yourselves onto the grenade for the team is truly an act of selflessness and courage.

It might be working..
There is a glimmer of HOPE...For 2 runs in a row...The tea leaves are showing a cold and snowy few days...Like earlier mentioned,On or around the 18th or so a low will move up the coast. This is in the 288/300 hr period...ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN this far out..But there is HOPE...

False Hope..
There will be a brief return to normal temps on or about 18/19th. Then we warm back up...As of now meaningful cold will not return until 26 ish..Maybe...

Not sure about anyone else but I am expecting The Snoloco Report to be posted on 12/26, grading all the major northeastern resorts on their Christmas terrain performance.  Will there be a curve?

It's dry in Wilton and Qbury, not sure about your neck of the woods.  Soil is in primo condition down here

Overall the west isn't as good as the media hype is trying to make it sound. It's good up in the north west and that's about it. It's going to shift. Historically El Nino years don't really get going here in the SW until late December January some time. Even down in SA this past summer their season didn't get good until what would be our late January.

Winds out of the Southeast will bring another good weekend East of the crest.  Next week looks to be more of the same.  We will probably exceed our accumulation total from last year at Mission, by next weekend.

This is simple..
Warm this week..Seasonably cold Fri/Sat/Sun...
Possible record breaking warmth from 22 thru 26ish...Then more warmth after...

The following is a email for my buddy..Who happens to be a professional Meteorologist.
Granted it's a down state forecast but it kind a works for the Northeast

Dude…. If you look out and see some guy waving a white towel…. That’s me… this month is just about shot and probably the winter too!! 12 days before xmas and here’s an easy forecast…

Mix sun & clouds with a high of at least 60!!
